Hermecilia, teacher of a local school, sharing information about where and how to get help in case of abuse. Tutoring sessions have been key to sharing information with students and listening to their concerns.
Awareness campaign organized by students of a local school (over 500 students have been reached). A poster campaign was organized by teachers. The campaign will last until December 2009.
The students say they have gained confidence in dealing with situations of abuse and violence, following the project by teachers of the school. The students have received, for the first time, information on how to avoid and reduce risk of abuse thanks to a team of teachers at the school.
A school took advantage of its 50th anniversary to invite local authority representatives responsible for child protection, to explain to parents how the authority can support them in dealing with cases of possible abuse and violence. Authorities addressing parents about knowing their rights and responsibilities regarding abuse and violence.
A school participated actively in a march celebrating the International Day of Child Victims of Aggression, 4th June.
